First Christian Church has recently been awarded a grant from the American Association of University Women to extend their computer lab facility. The newly updated lab will be used as part of an outreach ministry involving the Quincy YWCA and the local AAUW Chapter. Women selected for the YWCA's program to help disadvantaged single mothers will be given the opportunity to learn computer skills that will aid them in entering the job market. This program is run entirely by volunteers from the Church and the Quincy AAUW. For a schedule of classes this month please click here.
On the first Monday of each month, First Christian hosts a community Fun Day from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Participants play board games, cards and have a great time visiting with one another. Come join us!
FCC's Chancel Coir meets on the 1st and 3rd Sunday mornings at 8:00 a.m. before Sunday School. New voices are always welcome!
